Access to finance is one of the major problems affecting hard to reach communities. The banking system is not available within these communities and even if they are, they could not afford the prerequisite to access loans. With our campaign to end FGM in Sierra Leone, FAHP has created a Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA Box) to aid in empowering individuals who are trying to start up small businesses and investments.
